Here's the venison - speared, planted in the ground and seasoned with a special rub. We even added an apple tree branch in the meat to season it from the inside. You never know when you'll be stranded on an island (or in the woods) with nothing but a flint (yes, he can start a fire), some Weber hickory chips and meat. He's cooking his own strip of venison.
So, at the end of the day (after Matthew reviewed and approved the post), he sighed and said, "It was a great day. I started seven fires." It's good to be 10.
